Community Acupuncture creates a space where healing happens, both individually, and as a community
We are temporarily closing our office
The coronavirus outbreak in New York State threatens to overwhelm our local healthcare resources. Fortunately, the majority of patients infected with this virus have mild symptoms comparable to a flu (loss of smell, digestive distress, headache, fatigue, fever, cough, shortness of breath). If you begin to experience these symptoms please stay at home, wear a mask to protect others in your home, and call your doctor immediately.
The most current information shows that asymptomatic transmission is possible. Thus is it not enough to avoid people who are coughing or appear visibly ill.
To protect ourselves and each other, all of us, except for those working in essential businesses should remain at home, observe social distancing (stay 6 feet from others), avoid touching your face, and wash your hands frequently (for at least 20 seconds).
If you own an unused mask (surgical or N95) please donate it now to a local hospital.
If you own a used mask, wear it in public, the use of masks has been one tool used to slow the spread of this disease in Asia.
Like all modern acupuncture clinics we use thin, pre-sterilized, single-use, disposable acupuncture needles for all of our treatments.
Acupuncture relieves physical and mental stress and will usually improve just about any health condition.
