Treatments are by appointment only.
Your first treatment costs between $35.00-$60.00. You pay what you can afford to receive the treatment you need.
We are a community clinic, we do not accept any insurance. Our sliding scale is your "co-pay" and there is no insurance paperwork or limits to treatment you can receive.
Your first treatment will last approximately one hour.

Please book only one appointment slot per person (if you wish to arrive with a friend, it is fine to book back-to-back appointments and arrive together!)
When scheduling, please make sure your name, phone number, and email address are correct.
Once you have completed the process, you will a confirmation of your appointment, and an email reminder the day prior to your appointment. Please save your email, as it also provides a link should you need to change or cancel your appointment.
Because we book three patients hourly, at 20 minute intervals, our office can get very busy. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you arrive late, your treatment will be shortened to end at the conclusion of the hour that you reserved.
Directions and before your treatment:
The office is easy to locate, however we recommend that you print driving directions to our office if you need them. Directions can be found both on this website and via the scheduling app.
Prior to arriving for your treatment please avoid taking any unnecessary medications, avoid stimulants such as caffeine, and do not apply strong perfumes. Please eat a nourishing meal before you arrive!
When you arrive, there will likely already be patients relaxing in the treatment room, so please keep your voice low, and please silence your cellphone before entering the clinic.
Our Latham office is handicap accessible. If you normally require assistance, please bring someone with you to help you enter and exit the office. Because I have limited space to accommodate special needs all treatments that cannot be done in the common area must be scheduled by phone instead of online.
You Do Not Need To Undress:
Our treatments to not require that you undress. Please wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to roll up your sleeves to your elbows and pants to your knees, and remove your socks prior to treatment. Keep in mind that while skinny jeans may be fashionable, they are very difficult to roll up to your knees!
We ask all patients to remove their shoes before entering the treatment rooms, so please wear socks!
We provide a warm, quiet room and gentle music. Fleece blankets are available upon request. Some patients bring their own blanket, neck pillow, earplugs, or an eye covering. It is your space so we want it to be comfortable for you!
You can even listen to your own music player/headphones, as long as our other patients cannot hear it!
Please remember that our community works best when everyone is flexible. One of the things we love best about our clinic is how many different kinds of people enjoy coming here.
During your first visit we will meet to discuss your concerns and then proceed to the treatment room where you can you recline and enjoy your treatment!
Once the needles are inserted, we recommend you relax for about 45 minutes to get the maximum benefit from the treatment. If you need to leave earlier please tell your acupuncturist before you are seated. We do provide a clock in the treatment room and you can stop your treatment at any time and signal the practitioner to remove your needles.
Many patients take a nap and wake up relaxed, refreshed and energized -- yes, you can be all three!
Once the Treatment Ends:
Upon completing your treatment we will show you how to pay and discuss your recommended treatment plan.
It is normal to be relaxed after your treatment, so it is best if you can avoid strenuous activity or exercise immediately afterwards.
If you do not cancel the appointment, or provide us with 24 hours notice that you wish to cancel it, you will be charged a $35.00 Missed Appointment Fee for the missed appointment.
This is because when you reserve a treatment slot in our schedule, other patients cannot reserve that time, and we hate turning away patients who are seeking care!
Please note: New patients who do not arrive nor call prior to missing their first appointment may be blocked from rescheduling in the future, so please let us know if you cannot arrive ASAP before the time you scheduled.
Like all modern acupuncture clinics we use thin, pre-sterilized, single-use, disposable acupuncture needles for all of our treatments.
